A Letter from the Camp President

Avatan is a lovely place to be!  When I drive through the property gate, all the troubles of the world are left behind.  I enter a lovely campground that is filled with people of like minds.  There is opportunity to do as little or as much as possible.

Volunteers keep the place looking fabulous – from the beautiful plants to the games areas.  We have pickleball, pétanque, volleyball, playground equipment for children, and weekend night activities.  Another option is to lay around the clean pool and talk (or not talk) with others. If you visit, the charms of Avatan will be easily seen and felt.

Our membership and guests are a friendly, happy group.  We all love the nature and peace that is found here.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask anyone you see.

We are an AANR (American Association for Nude Recreation) club.  That means we are family friendly and adhere to the rules of the Association.  We promote safety and security.  Background checks are mandatory for both members and visitors.
